About Me
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I started to take it a little more seriously after joining a musical theatre group and getting a part in a West End production at the age of 12. From there I performed in many local amateur dramatic shows and started to dip my toe more into the contemporary music world. I sang with bands performing soul, blues, jazz and pop music and began to write my own songs as well. I went on to study music at Goldsmith College, University of London and collaborated with many producers. During my time in London, I was also the lead singer for a 12-piece funk band and a 25-piece swing band performing regularly around the city. From there I moved to Singapore and more recently to Switzerland, where I am now living in beautiful Zürich. One thing that has remained with me wherever I go is my love for singing and music and sharing it with others.
A Whole Body Approach
As a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, I also bring what I have learnt about the body to my vocal lessons. How we use our body to support our breath, alongside the tension we hold in our muscles and what we eat all influence and impact the voice. To harness the power of the voice, we need to become more body-aware. In our lessons together, we’ll work on exactly this so you can unlock the full potential of the singer in you!
